Adrianne Palicki has been cast as TV Wonder Woman.

And she was apparently the only actress asked to read, which is cool for her.

Interesting. Does she have the athleticism to pull off the role?

She's tall so that's a plus.

Well, she certainly looks athletic. And she ran track in high school, so she's got actual cred.

Hm. I think she could do very well, but that's the David E. Kelley WW? Still conflicted.

Pre-wank is my least favourite flavour of wank. People are bitching about Adrianne's casting because she can't act, she's short, she's unathletic, she's blonde.

And many of those bitching about the acting don't seem to have seen her in anything.

Bitch about the premise of the show! Do some research, people. There's plenty to be miserable about. Her hair colour is really not it.

Seriously. And she did fantastic work on Friday Night Lights.

To be honest, I can't picture her with the right hair - blue-black with her coloring, I don't know - but I don't really doubt that in the army of people working on the show someone will find a way to make her look all right. I can't understand people thinking she can't act. I don't know if she can do her own stunts, but she can certainly carry herself like she's a badass convincingly.
