I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Because books.

He kisses Cara and Ruby! I think. But it's definitely fair to assume, anyway.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Let me go back for the quote:

There were only two women that I can recall with whom Sam shared spit and/or semen

She's making a point that he's shy about sex. So eliminating Ruby from that would be really obscuring the argument.

Well, she's still wrong, because he kisses Sarah and that girl Laurie from Hookman, iirc.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say she's being Wrong on the Internet. Hmph.

Someone mentioned Cara. I have now mentioned Ruby and Laurie. Last time I corrected her she told me my correction was irrelevant. I expect something similar this time too.

Art Crawl!!!

Boy. You don't agree with her - the facts are irrelevant to her case.

Nice.

One of the reasons I like IO9 so much is that they seamlessly integrate corrections (at least on the show recaps I pay attention to). The recappers really pay attention to the community, and explain themselves without sounding defensive.

Also, they're more au fait with fandom than their audience is, primarily. Which is kinda weird. Some of the posters found supernatural fandom secrets and were all "ick! weecest!" God, I don't like it, but does it have to be a production every time you unearth a reference?

The io9 recapper is on the ball, plus she clearly loves the show, which makes all the difference.

wolfpup's "whose shoes?" photo post from the recent con.

Is it wrong to want to date people based on their shoe choices alone? Some of those are hot. I have no idea who any of them are this time round (lots of chicks--at least I think so).

I want #4 for myself. #6 aren't bad. #7 in a pinch. #8 will do. #11 could work. #12 rock. #13 make me smile.

Guy in a meeting today was totally wearing a Balthazar watch. I didn't know I thought there was a Balthazar watch until I saw it. Very stylish dark metal on a wide leather band.

eta: pinkraygun says that demons aren't slutty to sleep with and the Hookman chick is probably dead, lol.

No, that's not a quote, and I am being unkind.

I know which ones are Jensen's only because I watched a con video earlier. I think I know Clif's and Jared's, and I can guess which belong to the chick who plays Pamela, but that's it.

Well? Which are which? Don't leave a sister hanging.

I refuse to look at footage of Clif. He irritates me. I pretend he doesn't exist.

I like to think of the Js in cowboy boots all the time (that's how Colin describes them, and it made me laugh because he has issues with tall guys in heels), but to be honest I don't think I've seen them in them outside of cheesy Texas-bait pics.

I just love cowboy boots to pieces, and think everyone should wear them all the time. I certainly would. I need more.
