We didn't talk about Wincest here because in the early days of the thread, we started to. I don't have anything against angel/human. I was much more receptive to it until the x-files episode that dealt with the consequences of that union. I just saw that last week. However, I also saw LEGION, and if ever two angels were prime candidates, it would be Paul Bettany and other character actor guy. Very very hot angel fighting.

My favorite thing about this fic is that part of how he does it is by journeying through Sam's favorite memories, so it repairs so much of the damage done in "Dark Side of the Moon" without ever spelling it out quite that clearly. (Young Dean teaching little Sammy to swim! Dean feeling Sam's reaction to Sam seeing him alive, really and truly, at Mystery Spot!). She posted it in early November so of course it doesn't completely match up to canon.

Thanks for posting that Morgana. In my mind, the way I've healed has been to handwave that the memory of the fireworks were as close to a true shared memory that the boys had in heaven. I've never seen the boys so happy and watching it makes me cry every time. Sam dancing in the fire light. Gulp. The idea of Dean teaching Sam how to swim is made of so much win that I WANT to see it on the show. Want!
