My gut instinct is that euclase definitely did not paint over a photo. As amazing as that is, Dean's shoulders are too narrow, and Cas' are almost non-existent.

I love caps from that end scene from Yellow Fever. It was filmed around the same time as the Red Bull race thing, and apparently Vancouver was at its Indian Summer most beautiful at that point: quality of light, angle of the sun--no rain!

Really, not so much. There's a powerful awesome!Sam movement I've noticed, but other than having him skydive at random moments, even the mediocre stuff acknowledges Dean's priorities, if not makes it a plot point.
Badfic I can't speak for, since I try and and avoid it.
