Because books.

It is a very atmospheric picture, but I never appreciate art that looks photo-manipped and then painted on as much as I do traditional art. I can't not see the photos underneath the layers there.

And if she didn't use photos, then she's sort of scary.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She says she doesn't paintover. I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Because her general composition and detail is very high, even when I can't tell what her photo references were. The lighting in that, for instance--she's not getting the shading from existing sources to match that up, even if she used something for the shapes. And that is a bitch to get convincing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Mmmmmm, this morning's TNT rerun has evil/possessed Sam and Jo patching up Dean. Very yummy in all the wrong/bad/fun ways.

BINAO: Possessed Sam or Soul-less Sam.

Wow. Then she is scary, because those are some stunning likenesses.

BINAO: Possessed Sam or Soul-less Sam.

Soulless Sam! Because he's at least still Sam. And, you know, all about the no-strings sex.

RoboSam. I mean he wouldn't care, but at least it's still Sam. Posessed Sam would just be, like, creepy and weird, especially if real Sam were aware in there.

Robo!Sam for the win. Although I don't think he's Sam either. But he's good enough to convert a pro.

Though I'm sure Meg would be good in the sack, and looking like Sam doesn't hurt.

Then she is scary, because those are some stunning likenesses.

Hell, I couldn't paint over like she paints over, so even then, I'd envy her skill.

Apropos of entirely nothing, I just noticed in this gif how effortlessly JP holds a full coffee cup and a mike in one hand.

And you thought nothing of his incredible chair-dancing?!

What a cutiehead. A giant, ripped cutiehead.

The SIZE. Of THOSE HANDS. All I can think of.

I've been doodling Sam today. But no hands. Hmm.

Because books.

DRAW HIS HANDS, goof.
