Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cafe De Labeill does the most expressive hands. I love them.

Art Crawl!!!

I was skimming through the thread and got the bit where somebody hoped we'd see resouled Sam before the Hellatus - hahahahahaha.

Yes,we got that. Kind of.

I thought what Death said about souls was extremely important and agree that it may be what the second half of the season is about.

I hope that we see Robert Englund again - that part could totally be recurring, right?

That was my wish, and I got exactly what I wanted. What kind of? Because if it didn't happen now, sweeps was the soonest it was going to, and that was totally too long from now.

I figure the back half is souls and purgatory and alphas and weird monsters, and angelic civil war with an overlay of emotional ramifications from Sam. And maybe a reappearance of Lisa (hopefully to resolve the end of the relationship, not restart it--I like him better untied). So we get Cas, more Balthazar, maybe Raphael or another new angel, and follow-up on where Crowley had been heading.

Oh, right, Sampa. Him too. Wow, they've brought up a lot of stuff, haven't they? Even more happy the soul's back in. The quest for that was too distracting, since on their own it's more important than everything else.

Can someone get cloudyjenn to put porn in her stories? Or someone remix them with porn in? She's a bit more saccharine than I am, but some days I like that. Just...more sexing.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm waiting for Bev's spicy brained reaction.

Because books.

I looked her up because I didn't think I'd read her stuff, and this is adorable:

"I don't believe I have a sexuality outside of my attraction to Dean," Castiel says.

"I don't think they have a magazine for that," she answers. "I would try Cosmopolitan."

She writes really adorable D/C. Sometimes it's too much for me (her Soul Piece WIP is beyond my levels of appreciation), but her and janie_tangerine are probably the best at hitting my schmoop place. But I seem to recall janie having more porn.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, right, Sampa.

As much as I love MP, I kind of wish they hadn't brought him back, as things stand right now. I really liked the character before, and now he just feels wasted.

He's a bit of a device--well, if there's a showdown and some sort of violent confrontation that doesn't go all the way to a mortal end because of the power of wuv, well, then it is kinda ruining his character.

But if they escalate his insanity and take things to a "Fuck! They went there??!?" place, I'll be sad they ruined a character I liked beforehand, but I'm a ho for the dramatics.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Her twitfics are momentarily amusing, and then her long fics almost do it for me, but I crave a bit more violence and smut.

Sensor and Guardian is kind of hot even if nothing explicit happens (I mean, I have an inkling that dirty things are happening, but it literally isn't spelled out) [link]

Speaking of sex scenes that are obtuse, I trudged through the epically long "I've Got Soul but I'm Not a Soldier" (which is a giant curtain fic with the summary of an epic (in the proper sense) AU and I didn't even realize I was reading a sex scene because the writer refused to spell out anything even metaphorically. After being annoyed, I was kinda impressed. I think there was frottage and a blowjob. There might have been an orgasm or two. I'm actually still not sure. Something happened. Maybe.
