Yeah, I kinda buy it as a character note, except she's in a form fitting top with a lace bodice. So it's not great. Demon!Meg
acts
all sexed up, but her clothes, I totally can't call them far more provocative. Fashionable, but just not provocative.
since wardrobe is kind of a nothing compared to being in there while the demon is slitting throats and having sex with strangers, but.
Who'd she have sex with?
Oh, wait, we know she had sex with strangers while she was in Sam. I guess I just assumed she did while in Meg, but you're right, no citation there.
Ellen's cleavage, by the way, is AWESOME.
we know she had sex with strangers while she was in Sam
It's not stated in BUABS. Is it mentioned elsewhere?
He doesn't say that at some point?
Um, it's not, I guess? I could very well be thinking of a fic.
Nope. Just read the transcript. Malt liquor, murder, and menthols. No sex.
Maybe Meg was all talk and no action!
Dude, a fic where Meg and Cas were BOTH virgins and fell in LURVE would probably explode some heads nicely.
That would be excellent trolling.
But it was Meg herself who thought the demon dressed her slutty, and based on the peasant top and the very natural hair, I guess that could just be her take on it?
Exactly this. The character herself's read on it.
Seriously? Slut? That's harsh. How do you characterise Bela's clothing, or Ellen's cleavage, or Jo's visible stomach?
*I* didn't characterize demon!Meg as dressed slutty, dead Meg did. I think the demon dressed in a more sexually aware or provocative way but a lot of it was attitude too.
Bela was ... I don't even recall. Ellen's cleavage was awesome. She's a woman and I can easily read her as owning her sexuality happily. Jo dressed her age and sense of self. The demon dressed Meg's body in a way that was clearly not comfortable for Meg. That's the difference for me.
Sorry. When you said "far more provocative" you didn't mean that in any sense outside of human!Meg's PoV? Because you said it in a post all by itself, and I thought you were speaking for yourself. And when you say it again in that post, I still can't tell.
Oh, I absolutely felt the demon dressed, did her hair and most of all acted in a far more provocative way than human!Meg. What I don't personally think is that she ever dressed slutty. Slutty was Meg's word and I wouldn't have used it.
But, yes, I think the demon dressed more provocatively. Tight red leather is a different statement than layered cotton peasant shirts even if the latter show off the body more. Personally I liked her style better as a demon, but I can see how the character might have felt differently.
