Or Sam has been jumped forward.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
DO NOT HOLD DEAN BACK.
I may have issues.
Sam can be jumped forward as required.
Hmm. I've never read a HS AU where Dean doesn't graduate. Should be more.
Someone just mentioned on IO9 that the voiceover for next week's promo was incredibly wacky, whereas the content matter definitely wasn't. Can they really lead with comedy in an episode where Dean dies and Sam tries to kill Bobby?
It's true - the v.o. made it seem like wacky highjinks but then Dean is dead and it appears that Sam is about to murder Bobby.
Cas trying to teach Dean computers has excellent comic possibilities.
Not that I could write it. I barely manage to use my own computer, and I'm not proud of it.
Thoughts from last ep include but are not limited to: Cas looked down because of the knife steal; agree that Dean's reaction and hand gestures during the kiss were hilarious and priceles; RoboSam continues to rock my world; what about Adam's soul, dudes? Was he still in there when Michel jumped in? Did that do him in by itself?; I'm not convinced Sam's soul is mangled beyond repair, but I'm unsure why I feel that way; apologies to Tep for semi-colon abuse.
I'm not convinced Sam's soul is mangled beyond repair because I refuse to believe that Show wants to have a permanently de-souled Sam.
Yes, that for sure. I think it may be relatively undamaged somehow is what I really mean. I don't know that I think Michael is protecting it, though. I just don't know... something.
Maybe in Hell Michael and Lucifer are in their orginal Angelic forms and that is why Crowley was able to pull Sam out of the cage. (Assuming we can believe anything Crowley said.)
Thus - Sam's soul is just hanging out as a disembodied entity not tied to Lucifer.
I don't think that we can possibly go through all the sadface trauma that would result from Cas being right. But I think it serves the story very well for everyone to assume it is the truth.
