Yeh, that was fun. I'm surprised they never explained the redcap, just let those who got it, get it.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
So why did the fairies kidnap Dean? And why did they give him back?
Yeah, Sammy doesn't want the soul, He's a sexy beast, but a lying liar who lies.
eta: They took him because he was a first born son, and they gave him back because he fought back.
Dude, the Soulless Sam and Dean Show is HILARIOUS.
I can't wait to rewatch just to see the look on Dean's face again when he says he thinks he's the first person who ever fought back.

Concur.
I don't necessarily think I'll love a whole season of it but letting JP play the soulless to the hilt was fun this ep.
I might go crazy and rewatch this ep before I delete it.
I could have done with a bit less Yellow Fever!Dean with the Red Cap, and the special effects of nipply Tinkerbell was a bit precious(although I have heard of supposed alien encounters involving golden spheres -- my mom saw them), but that was hysterical.
Loved all the boys interactions and Dean's reactions to everything (stealth air harmonica!), especially how he painfully delivered his description of his abduction.
Dean's triumphant shout after nuking Tink, and then the microwave ding after the screen goes to black was most excellent.
Sam is so having a change of heart about wanting his soul back, if that was ever true.
Also, Sam had sex in Dean's bed (I actually never would have noticed bed choice if not for this thread).
"I've had time to adjust"
"Oh, did it happen when you were kids?"
"No, like, half an hour ago"
Loved it! I can't remember chuckling through an episode so much.

I heart Ben Edlund. So damned much.
The camera angle and Dean's face as he's leaning against the door in the motel room, and his delivery of "...and she hit me", Sam's "I'm not supposed to laugh, right?" and Dean's physicality as he wordlessly tells Sam "absolutely not". "Right." Oh, priceless.
Dean was without his brooding angsty face for much of the ep, and my god, sometimes I forget how beautiful his eyes are when they're not hooded with anger.
Poor Dean. Also, poor RoboSam. I don't think either of those settings goes off for a while.
I wonder if they could get a The Doctor Dances episode? It wouldn't have to be at the end of the season--that would actually weird me out a lot. But just one where they win and they feel happily victorious.
