I love The Three Stooges. I can give myself the giggles just thinking about the Omay short. They didn't do a lot of nut jokes. I guess I'm more amused by guys poking each other in the eyes. (and pig latin of course)
I think a lot of my dislike for Changing Channels comes from never having seen the Dr Dreamy show. Is that Gray's Anatomy? So I didn't get a lot of those jokes.

But it wasn't sad from the guys' perspectives. Frustrating, but not sad. For all they knew the host could have been asking them the colors in the rainbow or the year strontium was discovered.

I've never seen that one either.
I finally convinced a colleague to check out Show after months of being the only show I talk about. I broke down and sent her go.back.to.sleep with the warning that it really wasn't that gorey all the time. She was all over it. Sick sick lady.
It doesn't need to be sad from the boys's perspective to be sad for me. I have meta reactions too.
The Japanese game show was also perfectly in line with what Gabriel would find funny, which was the point. The joke was for him to enjoy.
But the body still needs rest. I would think he would sleep, just not dream. I keep wondering where they're going with that.
Maybe if the removal of his soul means no mental conflicts or need to process information meaningfully, he can just lie or sit still for a few hours and physically recuperate?
I don't know though... even goldfish sleep, right?
Maybe goldfishes have souls. Do they go to purgatory?
They just get flushed. It probably feels like purgatory.
