I remain equally excited about every episode, because something in me is broken, I think. So I'm excited for this week, but not unduly so.
But then I've loved every episode so far this season, too. I don't seem to have any objectivity in the moment. It's only now I can point to, like, S3 episodes and call out flaws and disappointments.
The bit in the promo where the Tinkerbell-style faerie smacks Dean across the room sent me checking whether my TV can be seen from my front door so I can get a good 20 feet of hall between us.
I'm liking the show better every episode. If Bobby isn't in tomorrow's ep I will be disappoined.

Okay, ita, stop being askeered. That's just silly. I've liked all of this season so far quite a bit, probably more than five. I just see people invoking Changing Channels, and I'm like "No! Don't jinx it!"

Oh no, I'm not expecting it to top classic episodes for the funny. I don't think I'll laugh harder than I have laughed before at something the boys have done. But I think, from the previews, that I won't yawn or pause it to go do something else. How's that for setting the bar low?
A weird number of people also seem to be acting like "Edlund! Writing a Supernatural ep!"
Uh, yeah, it's something he's really good at and has done already this season. Where were you then, padawan?
Edlund's not really watch from the hall for me. But not many moments have been. The ghost ship one was, both for JP and the actress who played Gert, because that must have been a little weird.
Or maybe they had loads of fun! I hope, anyway.
For whatever reason, that one didn't bother me. Hell, I'd welcome a reappearance by Gert.

I so wanted to press "like" for this.
That was watch from the hall from me more than anything else because I thought it was a grave tonal misstep (although I hated most of that ep). Molesting unattractive older woman just made me embarrassed for the people who thought that was funny.
I don't think soulless Sam would do her unless she could prove she was a tiger in the sack. I don't think it was scruples that was keeping his pants on before--it was fear of old lady cooties.
