Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I think that made a big difference.
I think that made all the difference, honestly. He was willing to upset the terms of the deal/plan to get him back, until Sam made him promise.
I'm suddenly remembering some Missouri/Bobby, but I don't think I bookmarked it...hmm.
I wonder how much Lisa we'll see from here on in. I don't want her to be killed to free up Dean, but I do think she was highly right (and should have been dealing with this all along), and a reconciliation would make me twitchy.
I don't think we've seen the last of her and Ben. I don't think they'll reconcile, at least not right away if ever, but I do think Dean has unfinished business with Ben, and I think he's the type to want to cap that off, and apologize.
I'm really trusting Sara not to kill them, and I hope I'm not wrong.
They have to be back in some capacity, otherwise that was a really cheap write-off. Any finality has to come without magical hijinks interfering in their personalities and actions. Not that the magical hijinks didn't highlight issues that needed addressing. But they need to come back after that shit and say "All said and done, because of that, despite that..."
But I think Lisa's point was totally valid. Maybe she needed Twihard to wake her up, but what she said was true enough without even that. That was something waiting to happen--magical hijinks are their life.
Still, I'd miss her if that was it, and if Dean didn't get to apologise to Ben. But the fact that he was a vampire shouldn't change Lisa's mind at all--it should resolve it.

I see these words and know they're right, but yeah, she's wormed into my heart. I want her in their lives, I know not how.
I say Exacttly to all of that, but I still feel that, narratively, they still need to come together to say "My life is dangerous for you" and "I want you gone", again, sober. If it was a fling of the week, I could see the show letting it stand as enough said on the matter. But this feels like it needs more nails.

I think a truth curse is pretty much the essence of sober. As ita said, there's nothing there she doesn't actually feel. She just might not have said it, or said it so harshly.
I think the biggest issue is Dean resolving with Ben.
I know I'm not expressing this right. But to speculate that if we never saw Lisa and Ben again after this, it wouldn't feel clean to me. It wouldn't feel resolved or closed or tied up. It would feel swept under the rug. It would feel like a hasty fix to a supposed bad story decision.
So while the facts are on the table, it needs
more.
Especially with Dean still trying to reach out. Even if only to say "It wasn't me, I was vamped, and I would never actually do that, but I also can't promise that something like that won't happen again, and you're right, goodbye."

This.
I hope Dean doesn't try and talk her out of it (which I imagine he wouldn't--I'm sure he didn't feel he deserved it in the first place), and I hope she doesn't back down from her position. Those are the important things to me.
Maybe Ben asks for him back, and he talks it out that way. That would work for me.
