It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Rewatching I was struck by how Raphael and his minions were all suited up, and that even Zacchariah and his goons were also suits. Which makes me wonder why, and were there really that many willing vessels for all the angels that weren't wearing random clothes (although Jimmy is/was also wearing a suit...), and then I thought that they looked like they were dressed for open casket funerals, which I'm sure is fanwank, but makes me feel a leeetle better about all the humans getting offed everytime Cas kills a fellow angel.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It was a Charger. Dodge.

Well, okay then.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It occurs to me that Sam's "do you like him more than you like me?" is a monumentally stupid question, but I will continue to read and enjoy matchmaker Sam D/C anyway.

And now that Castiel has called out the profound bond (seriously, I'm still laughing--especially at how he then went and dissed Dean right afterwards), can Dean really be too surprised at the next step in their relationship?

Also, WHERE IS THE BALTHAZAR/CASTIEL, DAMMIT?

Because books.

WHERE IS THE BALTHAZAR/CASTIEL, DAMMIT?

Give a girl a chance. Sheesh.

I want an animated icon of Cas doing the air quotes RIGHT NOW, myself. I could watch that forever.

I am disappointed in fandom...disappointed, I tell you.

Okay, not that disappointed. Still, want more fic.

It's interesting that some of the BB's have incorporated spoilers from season 6 into their premises. However, I think I've liked maybe 2, but not enough to reread or bookmark. I'll give fandom some time to get their act together on all the opportunities The Third Man gave them, however. Like, a week.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Mmm. My bet is totally on something I wrong with Sam; possession, eviltude, I don't know what. But it ain't no, "Oh, this is just how I reacted to Hell differently."

I just read someone throwing around the theory that maybe Sam came back without a soul, and that one of the story arcs this season will be the search to regain it. (I can just see them now, looking for whatever tree - a mighty redwood, no doubt - is housing Sam's soul.)

Will having no soul make him act differently, like Bobby or that kid?

By "that kid" you mean the antiChrist? Wasn't his name Jesse? Anyway, Sam has been acting differently, no one disagrees about that. It's just a matter of figuring out why.

Bobby didn't act differently sans soul. Not that I discount Sam missing his as an interesting possibility. I just don't see it as the source for the difference in behaviour.
