[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I'm disappointed that they had Uriel be the traitor after all his antagonism and threats to Our Heroes previously. I'd have much preferred it if they didn't go the obvious route, and instead had Anna be the one that was killing other angels for whatever reason while Uriel remained unpleasant but righteous. (Did call it that it was an angel killing the other angels all along, though.)
Also not thrilled that Castiel has proven once again helpless against Alastair, and had to be rescued by Sam. Our blue collar protagonists should not have more power at their disposal than high rank cosmic beings.
I did think that both Ackles and Heyerdahl did great jobs tonight. And I liked it that trying to torture information out of Hell's torturer was pointless and probably messed Dean up more than his captive.

That really was delicious and painful all at the same time.

I say this because I keep thinking things are going down a particular path and they aren't! I can safely say this season is anything but predictable. In spite of what was done in tonight's episode, I still don't know what to think of Ruby.
The suspense is exquisite, and Dean's angst is so heartbreakingly compelling. *heavy sigh*
like, yes, gore, but definitely a do-not-miss ep. I'm sure she has her strategies for dealing with the gore...
This is what the laptop, and the very large cat, are for.
Yeah, the gore bothered me a bit, but I sat through the whole thing anyway.
The show's record of major Black characters dying, or turning evil and then dying is still unbroken.
Honestly, I didn't think the gore was anything worse than what we have seen before. Really, I think we have seen worse. I've seen worse on ER. But I did laugh when Alastair said "I've got something in my throat. (beat) I think it's my throat."
It wasn't anything that I couldn't fast forward through and be fine.
I don't I've seen this much gore in a single SP ep. (Of course I did not join to show until after John's death, so have missed a several seasons.) Never watched ER. So the gore bugged me. Not a lot, and I don't think it was gratuitous. A reaction, not a judgment. "Shit, they just made another black character a Judas, and then dead" was a judgment.
Sam is Riley!
Anna is pretty!
P-C is sleepy!
I don't think it was too gory before John died so you've probably seen as bad as it's been. eta: I just remembered the first shapeshifter episode. It has been worse. "Omg Dean's taking off his shirt! OMG Dean's taking off his skin!"
Sam is Riley!
Oh, I totally went there.
