Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Your eyes, yes. Then you walked away and walked over to a nearby display.

I was behind you in line. It took a while for the eye contact with me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bad Joss!

(Now I can't help but wonder what I was wearing)

Cass, they took forever to ship me seasons 3 and 4, but I got them a few weeks ago. I ordered something else from the WB store (a birthday gift for Polgara) and they shipped right away. So I'm guessing the extensive delay has something to do with the fact that it's cheap as shit.

Which isn't something Amazon or BN.com does to you when they discount, so no biscuit.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

  • I want to hang out at the tiki bar with Kripke.
  • I want to get stoned with Edlund (and make up stories about The Tick).
  • I want to go on a retreat with Gamble (the lady knows fun).
  • I want to see Carver's other writing endeavors.
  • I want to ask Tucker to please come back and write for the show.
  • I want to witness Singer hearing a story pitch from Edlund and Kripke (so badly).

Because books.

Oooh, I agree with all of that, ehab.

I also want to say (in a Young Frankenstein voice, a la "Nice grouping"), "Nice formatting."

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Well I ordered them for Nephlet's birthday. Ship date was 8/18. If they'd said they had no idea, I would have never ordered. If they'd had any kind of customer service, I'd have known that when I wrote asking for an update. Instead I have run around for hours and hours today trying to get his birthday present because I leave tomorrow. And I've only got half.

I would have accepted them letting me know proactively. I would have probably canceled my order, but I wouldn't be this pissed. Because I could have ordered elsewhere.

It's just their total lack of customer service that is pissing me off and making me want to take to social networks to bitch.

I get they offered a good sale and got unexpected demand. But they've had my money for a while now and all I have is a lot of road rage because I am trying to cover my ass with the Nephlet.

I even found S5 for a good price. But I wouldn't buy it. They can't have my monies. I am only buying Nephlet the goods (well, S2 right now because I expect to pay more than the sale for S1 but I won't pay $50.) because it's not his fault that I loathe WB right now.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

God, it's the worst customer service and I still haven't heard back from them telling them to cancel my order.

Whoa, tl;dr indeed.

I vented. Oops.

Because books.

God, I would vent, too. That sucks.

I caved and looked at some spoilery tweeted pictures (although they really weren't very spoilery) but I've not yet watched the other sneak peeks.

And I won't. For real.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read The Tribulation of Chuck because it seemed like a good idea at the time, and the world could use more good Chuck fic, but man, what incredibly OOC Castiel, unsatisfying D/C, and weirdly flat SamandDean. I...uh...I'm going back to bed. That disappointed me.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

tomorrow night!!!

I'll be staying with my BFF who doesn't believe in cable tomorrow through Sunday. Luckily I finally got TiVo this week (not just for Supernatural . . . entirely), so I'll just have to stay spoiler free until Sunday afternoon.

The TNT reruns included "Wishing Well" yesterday. I think that may be one of my favorite episodes. "Kneel before Todd!"
