I have one question for Kripke¹ and maybe none for Joss². The difference with Tim is that I already know him, so it's not like it's just through his writing. But Tim's writing is highly "motherfucker!" and would tempt me to want to at least poke at the person behind the script.
Thinking more about writers...it's hard to say strictly because of their scripts, because so many of them have other presences these days.

Kripke strikes me as the sort of guy I'd love to have a beer or two with. Very seat of his pants, in the moment, and willing to collaborate and see what he (and others) can cull from the basic story he set up. I think the ride, given the fan support and reaction, has been as much fun for him as anything.
Joss ... does not strike me that way. I don't think I'd have a good time with Joss, but then I don't have to. I do appreciate his work, though. I loved Buffy for a lot of reasons, and every once in a while I still get that "I miss my girl" feeling.
I'd totally go clubbing with Sera. She looks like a hoot.
Oh, Sera I sort of want to be my BFF. And Jeremy Carver, based solely on episodes he's written, seems like my kind of guy, too.
My impression is that Sera is basically what you'd get if shrift became executive producer on a network TV genre show. I'd only fear for the normal people around us if she and any of the folks from this board hung out.
My one face to face interaction with Joss was at the comic book signing I went to with ita, and the most notable thing about it was how obvious he was about staring at ita's ass.
I, uh, completely missed that. Face to face he met my eyes?

Cass, they took forever to ship me seasons 3 and 4, but I got them a few weeks ago. I ordered something else from the WB store (a birthday gift for Polgara) and they shipped right away. So I'm guessing the extensive delay has something to do with the fact that it's cheap as shit.
Which isn't something Amazon or BN.com does to you when they discount, so no biscuit.
