The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Vampire diaries was very good tonight!

Jeremy is even hotter now.

Damon. Mmmm, Damon.

I suspect Cass is on time-delay for Vampire Diaries, because I didn't get any OMG or "mmmm, Jeremy" texts from her.

Here's a nice clear version version of at least one of the promos.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She could still be lying.

I really think that's pointless now.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Yeah. I think if they eventually reveal that Ben truly is a Winchester, it'll feel to daytime soap, especially after so long.

Narratively, what could be gained? Dean already wants him as a son and loves him as one, so there's no angst with Dean being all "For realz? DO NOT WANT!". They already missed the boat with making Ben a target as Michael's secondary vessel (that's where, if it were to be true, I think it would've worked best. Actually, I want to read that fic. Is there fic for that that doesn't kill Lisa? Like, trying to keep as close to the season 5 narrative, but changing out Adam for Ben. Of course, that would nix the applie-pie life with Lisa promise-- which, well... Just as an experiment, bringing in Lisa raging at Dean, trying to get Ben back, Lisa being brought into Team Free Will, seeing Michael!Ben face off with Samifer, Samifer killing Lisa in Stull, Cas brings her back, Dean and Lisa are united in their grief over lost loved ones, or maybe torn apart by blame and guilt...)

I think that even if Dean walks away from them completely, for their own safety of course, and a demon or a bloodtest or some anonymous phonecall were to inform him that Ben really is his, yeah, that'd be another nail in the coffin, but it would already be painful for Dean. And would make Lisa spectacularly mean and would cast deceit on the life they were trying to build together, that she wasn't all in.

Which, now that I type that, would be marginally interesting, for me.

I don't want them to do anything to make Lisa mean. I'm disappointed that they seem to be sleeping together, but I always want Lisa to be nice and good. Just the wrong woman.

Because books.

It doesn't surprise me that they're sleeping together. I think for Dean, attempting to do what Sam asked would mean going all the way, no pun intended. And you can't discount Lisa wanting to sleep with him, even if it starts as comfort sex.

I think I'll be truly angry at show for the first time if they villainize Lisa somehow.

Jeremy is even hotter now.

Heh, different strokes. I recall tuning in a couple weeks ago and thinking "THAT'S the cute kid from that killer piranha movie? What happened to him? Why hasn't a producer stepped in to protect him from the obviously vindictive hair and makeup people?"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sleeping with Lisa cements him more as a father figure for Ben, and makes that separation even harder. I dunno, I guess it's a while before Sam comes back, given the dialogue, so it's not like they necessarily hop into bed right away. I just think the whole accepting him in thing is kinda dodgy. But if he's been there a while, and proven himself, and stopped drinking, it's not so bad.
