A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Because books.

Hey, look what Misha's doing. That's completely awesome.

Amy, I saw that and love it. There's something so utterly charming about how Misha regards his life as one big experiment. It's been so obvious from the start he wanted to channel his twitter followers' energy somehow.

I approve of his experiments.

ETA: I want to go on record that this is a much better idea than having fans bring him eggs.

Indeed. Heh. Or sending him panties, to be honest.

You can see where the White House intern thing came from. We might be wise to prepare for the day when he is running the world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

scaramouche says she's going to write some timestamps for her HS AU. It's not a long HEA sequel with lots of smut, which is what I really want, but hey, she has the stories to tell. I just have the grabby needy hands.

I read the story again. God, I love those crazy kids. And the comments on the story are pretty interesting too.

Yeah, it's a definite keeper. I need to read that bauble story again and see if the annoying parts annoy me less this time around. Two in the morning is no time to make clear decisions.

I feel like I should read the bauble story again and see if I'm the one on crack. I saw everything filtered through Dean's extremely broken and hurt PoV and it made perfect sense to me that way.

Or maybe I'm just alone here in the bauble-love. Well, like. She hits me 60% of the time, but that 60% I'm a pretty big fan of.

That's the thing, though -- I did love it, or the Dean/Cas parts. Sam just threw me, and something about Dean's interactions with him was ... not what I expected, I guess.

I also think, if I'm the reader, it's hard to sell me on Dean wanting to make it work with Lisa, if only for Ben's sake, when the only scenes you show me are the two of them, post-breakup, arguing or distant.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

it's hard to sell me on Dean wanting to make it work with Lisa, if only for Ben's sake, when the only scenes you show me are the two of them, post-breakup, arguing or distant.

I think this is sort of what I meant conversations ago. I don't think I've read many fics where she wasn't either a vague mention, or they were already on the outs, and she was just being hurried off screen as quickly as possible so the smexing with Cas could get started.

I also prefer the fics where he's sleeping on the couch or in the guest room and never tried to start something romantic with her. And unless the author sells me on Dean having feeeeelings for her, it just comes off as cold and death-wish obligatory, and makes me scratch my head over her. And the emotional state he must be in, I can't see some big romantic passion springing up.

I've idly toyed with the idea of going back and rereading as well, with the whole "knowing how it ends". But I've got too many tabs of unknown quantities of badfic to peruse.
