Oh they're quite horrid, Amy, but thanks.

I couldn't quite bring myself to use a skintastic base. That would have scarred even me. But these have been making larf and larf all evening.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You did the Misha Lady Gaga ones, didn't you? Own up.

Not me, I swear!

I only just remembered that I had photoshop and needed to torture you.

You have. They're almost as bad as what I thankfully cannot find again.

I know where it is. --but only because I was surfing for pics of Leeloo and Misha. Up until then, I had no idea what you were talking about with Lady Gaga. Then it clicked.

I don't know whether to be offended or relieved that mine weren't as bad as that.

Post Ergo Propter is kinda awesome [link]

I adore the Questing Knight, and the tone and language and humour throughout the story is just right for me. Has a bad case of "relationship tacked on, shoulda stayed gen", though.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I've stumbled across a number of stories like that. I don't get it. Do you think it's a case of the authors not having the skill to integrate the pairing into the story, or do you think it's more often a case of "people won't read it without the pr0n!"

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

In general, I think it's mostly the latter.

In this specific instance, I think it could have been fine (the scene in question where we learn they are already in a relationship is actually quite funny, and brief) if any sort of vague hints had paved the way. As it stands, there was no indication that there was any attraction leading up to that scene, not even in a repressed Victorian way. And so far, the story(s) being told in this particular fic aren't served by the pairing, and could have worked just fine without.
