Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

cocoa puffs:

The DCBB about Dean becoming an angel was dumb and tedious and I began skimming about two paragraphs in.

I HATE DEAN AS AN ANGEL. God, people. Disappoint me right off the bat.

I liked the one with the cat Whiskers. Not lots. But I liked it.

I liked the chemistry a fair amount with that. A nice level of dysfunction, if memory serves. And independent Cas.

Mankind was not my cup of tea. It's f***ed up take on the final episodes after Point of No Return actually starring Cas. But a fucked-up Cas. And it ends abruptly. And is a bit disjointed.

Wait--was Mankind the one where Cas was raped and tortured? Not really my speed. I don't remember it in detail, I don't think, although I did like the way they wound Cas back into canon. Was there smut?

What was the name of the one with the cat? eta: Ah, Sweet Things. Some good art there too.

No smut in mankind, just the rape.

I would have liked the weaving a whole lot better if it had just been the angelic torture. Where they dumped him and what happened after was just too much.

Right Mankind. Pre-slash, or whatever. Too much whump--I agree with you where they should have drawn the line. The second half of the whump didn't even make logical sense to me. Totally gratuitous.

blualbino's good. I like her work. I'm pretty sure I have her bookmarked too. Man, I miss delicious.

Why is inalasahl's name so familiar?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

although shallowly I prefer when Dean...

Do you recall which particular HS AU that was?

I'm not too keen on made_of_tin's Castiel (nicely drawn, don't get me wrong, but just not a good likeness) but I wish the animated show people had hired her to draw Dean because he's a lot more recognizable than in the actual official previews.

There was a HS one with a baseball team. It has like ten different titles.

So inalasahl's "Whatever Light May Shine" has one of the hottest medical repair scenes, like, ever. It's hitting kink after kink and doing it all above boards.
