Right Mankind. Pre-slash, or whatever. Too much whump--I agree with you where they should have drawn the line. The second half of the whump didn't even make logical sense to me. Totally gratuitous.
blualbino's good. I like her work. I'm pretty sure I have her bookmarked too. Man, I miss delicious.
Why is inalasahl's name so familiar?
although shallowly I prefer when Dean...
Do you recall which particular HS AU that was?
I'm not too keen on made_of_tin's Castiel (nicely drawn, don't get me wrong, but just not a good likeness) but I wish the animated show people had hired her to draw Dean because he's a lot more recognizable than in the actual official previews.
There was a HS one with a baseball team. It has like ten different titles.
So inalasahl's "Whatever Light May Shine" has one of the hottest medical repair scenes, like, ever. It's hitting kink after kink and doing it all above boards.
Heh, julie. I was just thinking that the actual sex? Not so sexy. But when did I get a medical!kink?
Matt, I'm going through AUs again, and I'll make a note of the ones that satisfy that. Apparently the baseball one is based on something to do with Taylor Swift? I'm not sure what that's about. It moved it into guilty pleasure land to me. Automatic peer pressure.
Yeah, ita, the actual sex was a rushed impersonal letdown after all the time taken with shit like "Cas left the needle in his skin"
OMFG!UNF
Is the Taylor Swift also the one called the Short Skirts verse? Which I think might be a TS song? And I think it was also renamed something vague like "the one that's a highschool AU".
There's all this tending and the tending, and Dean's
eyes are shut for the whole thing,
and then the sex is over in like one paragraph and no dirty words. Whut?
t /Gus voice
Yeah, that's the Taylor Swift one. I'm not going to actually listen to the song or watch the video to see what that's about. I like the high school/first time story the best. The sequels are a little schmoopy for me, but they're certainly porn-o-riffic.
I wish I could blame Sara for knowing that in one Taylor Swift song the lyrics are, "She wears short skirts, I wear T-shirts," but I can't.
