You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Behave! The fic is well enough done that you should read it all the way through the first time. Rest up and have at it tomorrow.

Because books.

Geez. Yes, ma'am.

(I'm glad it's well done enough to wait, though. The description makes it look good, and I haven't read anything that I could really sink my teeth into a while.)

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

The one sex scene in Tigerland is almost clinical and off-hand, while simultaneously being graphic and in your face, but the movie is quite good. Colin Farrel and Cole Hauser are stellar in it.

Grr. I thought I'd be reading a nice, perhaps intense story big bang about the brotherly bond, and instead it's layers of angst with some douche!John on top.

::sigh::

My lunch break put me in an unhappy place. I should probably read the trinityofone story again when I get home.

I hate douche!John stories. And I really need to find the time to read that trinityofone story. I hate it when life gets in the way of fic.

To hell with life! It's not worth it!

(My sister recommended I take a break from the internet. I told her I was too busy reading fic for other people--INCLUDING HER--she still thinks I'm weird)

Immigrant Song is the only story other than the zombie apocalypse one that I wholeheartedly rec from the big bang. There hasn't been much within my non RPF and J2 parameters of high quality.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I really liked Immigrant Song. It was just so tightly written!

Life don't wait, these days.

Although "take a break from the internet" are still words I just don't understand, strung together like that.

Okay, you get a pass.

My sister spent a long time yesterday trying to convince me I was a freak. And ten minutes after we stopped Skyping she was asking me for more recs of Inception slash. So, you know, WHATEVER.

I really like Immigrant Song, but it's not the fic I'm looking for. --I was also ticked to realize I had finished it and there was no more. I wasn't ready for it to be over!-- It's too much on the verge of crack to fill my angsty emo heart. I have this big giant hole that needs to be filled with something sprawling and plotty and case!ficcy and full of pathos but light on the navel-gazing (oh, how much did I enjoy that we hardly ever, if at all, got a glimpse into any of the character's head in IS?!).

I just finished an overly long fic that reeked of so much belly-button lint, where I learned to skip every fourth paragraph as the author reiterated what was already clearly established in several different ways. And the idiocy that was contrived to keep Dean and Cas apart for half the fic, which suddenly switched gears and straight to "Dean likes it up the ass, watch him ride!"

Also, did anyone know that there are 500 spn vids to "Until We Bleed" by Kleerup? I need to look up the lyrics to see what it was deemed to be so apt.
