Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Third chapter, I think.

ita, HOT. Like WHOA.

I immediately flashed to a similar scene in Tigerland. At once full of comradery and casualness, like it ain't no big thang, but in this instance with an extra side of UNF. Like you (Dean) could almost put it off to Discovery Channel curiosity, but we know that's not the case.

But to be sure...I should reread and check.

Yes, be sure. It's always good to double check.

I think it's also the newness (to D/C fic) of the situation. 1) that Cas would be so willing and casual and eager about sex, and 2) that it's consensual, casual, complication-free het sex and 3) the voyeurism element. That's a big refreshing change to the usual bump and grind. And new is hot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Having doublechecked? Yeah, still find it way hot.

I hadn't thought of it as a thing, but there is one other D/C fic (Infinite For A Moment). I think I definitely like that moment on Dean's path--and it's certainly way hotter than the usual now that Dean thinks about it, he's jealous about Castiel with someone. Plus, as you note, it is nice and fresh to see some het sex up in there. Makes such a change for the pairing, naturally.

Now, if people could work out a way to put M/M/F threesomes in D/C fic, I'd be quite cheerful. But I have no good suggestions. I'll just know it when I see it.

(Must rent Tigerland)

Because books.

Oh, now I want to skip ahead and just read the sex, but that's not very disciplined. I think I'm too tired to get through two and a half chapters tonight, though.

Behave! The fic is well enough done that you should read it all the way through the first time. Rest up and have at it tomorrow.

Because books.

Geez. Yes, ma'am.

(I'm glad it's well done enough to wait, though. The description makes it look good, and I haven't read anything that I could really sink my teeth into a while.)

The one sex scene in Tigerland is almost clinical and off-hand, while simultaneously being graphic and in your face, but the movie is quite good. Colin Farrel and Cole Hauser are stellar in it.

Grr. I thought I'd be reading a nice, perhaps intense story big bang about the brotherly bond, and instead it's layers of angst with some douche!John on top.

::sigh::

My lunch break put me in an unhappy place. I should probably read the trinityofone story again when I get home.

I hate douche!John stories. And I really need to find the time to read that trinityofone story. I hate it when life gets in the way of fic.
