There tried to be Wincest, Amy, but it was forced with the lyrics.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Right? It was just good fun, the boys on the road. Really well done vid, too.
Tamest Wincest ever. Cutest boys ever.
Someone linked me to Brokeback Supernatural elsewhere, and of course it's Wincest, but completely PG, and an interesting use of canon to parallel the movie.
That music is so gorgeously melancholy.
It makes me laugh, unfortunately.
It makes me uncomfortable. Apparently, my wincest squick kicks in when actual footage is used in an AU manner to illustrate wincest. My window of appreciation is apparently narrow like a castle loophole window you shoot arrows through.

I'm totally good up until the hugs. I've stumbled on vids where they intercut actual footage of canon sex scenes to make it look like the brothers were getting it on and I had to run screaming. The implication of the hugs makes me frown at the specific changing of canon. Because I'm that sentimental about what the hugs actually meant.
But because it's Brokeback, I don't mind as much. If it were a generic Wincest vid I wouldn't have made it through. I like the specific exercise.
I really dislike Wincest, but Brokeback vids are too cracky to me to really bother me. Seriously, gorgeous soundtrack, but it's ruined to me forever, poor Gustavo Santaolalla.
Sometimes I sit back and wonder why an author felt motivated to write a certain fic. Like, you get to the end, and there isn't any emotional payout, or plot to resolve, or interesting and new ways to explore the character dynamics, or hot sex, so I'm left wondering: if it did nothing for me reading it, what the heck did the writer get out of it?
I need an intervention. I spent a huge amount of time watching a great movie (Inception) staring at Cillian Murphy and thinking of Castiel. It was really distracting.
