Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Because books.

I'm reading the SuperWiki, and it says no one communicated with Lucifer until Azazel found his cage, and only then were they able to concoct the plan to make sure Sam was his vessel.

Which still doesn't make a lot of sense if Heaven had already prophesied that Dean and Sam would be the vessels when the big showdown came. ETA: Which is why it never made a lot of sense that Azazel that was conducting this last-man-standing showdown at Cold Oak, for me. They're making it sound like Lucifer thought Sam was his choice, but Heaven doesn't seem to agree.

Either way, SuperWiki says that Azazel was Lucifer's only go-between until the last seal was broken.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Dean refers to the place Sam's going to as Hell, for what it's worth.

I don't know that Dean would know where Lucifer's particularly corner might be, but Castiel seemed pretty sure of it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Some Big Bang variety today and yesterday (by which I mean a diversion from Wincest and J2 AU). Gen, which looks really depressing, so I haven't started it--if someone does, I'd appreciate a heads up. D/C with Anna on Team Free Will, which is going to the front of my list, and some...dun dun dun dun...het. Weird wartime AU, so not my favourite, but Dean/Cassie? I'll give it a shot. I like her better so much in theory than onscreen.

Although the RPF stories aren't something I read, the summaries are really very entertaining. I will always check those out.

Because books.

Do you remember the name of the gen one?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The gen story is The Longest Road to Nowhere. It goes off canon after Sam, Interrupted, and sounds like hella trauma. I don't require HEA, but damn. It looks bleak.

Because books.

The one thing I don't like about the newsletter, which is where I generally find stuff to read, is that they don't mark Big Bangs.

I also wish they would mark stuff AU right there in the listing, but I do realize it's not all about me. Sadly.

Because books.

I just read a summary for a Dean/Cas and the author refers to their "optical coitus."

Okay then.
