Because books.

Do you remember the name of the gen one?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The gen story is The Longest Road to Nowhere. It goes off canon after Sam, Interrupted, and sounds like hella trauma. I don't require HEA, but damn. It looks bleak.

Because books.

The one thing I don't like about the newsletter, which is where I generally find stuff to read, is that they don't mark Big Bangs.

I also wish they would mark stuff AU right there in the listing, but I do realize it's not all about me. Sadly.

In other news, have a picture of Sir, complete with gray beard and glasses.

Because books.

I just read a summary for a Dean/Cas and the author refers to their "optical coitus."

Okay then.

Ah, that's funny as hell. But I'm wired on no sleep right now.

The start of the D/C is good so far. I do disagree on the author's definition of minor character death, though.

Because books.

Uh oh.

I'm not part of the audience that needs warning for it, but they set up an expectation, and blammo! Violated. And now I have meta issues with the author because of their definition.
