In theory, I think marketing teens to teens makes perfect sense. But it's never just that. And sexualising teens and then marketing them to teens isn't what they were doing. Those pics are so not about handholding.

I was a late bloomer, so I have little to relate it to in my own life. But I have watched extended family members extensively sexualise and market themselves while minors, and it was hella creepy. And resulted in emotional upheaval sooner or later. Parents not much use in tamping it down.

Wonderful--finally a non-wincest non-J2 bigbang, and it's girl!Dean/Castiel. Aargh. Well, I'll read it anyway, but still. Gimme some decent gen or het, man. I read the last Dean/OFC posted, and it was just dumb. Scantily written with pointless OCs, too much happening offscreen, and horribly OOC Sam. Painfully so. And bad Mary Sue. At least her eyes weren't violet. But her hair was.

I just discovered these, but they've been around since 2008 so you may have seen them already -- Gorgeous digital paintings by green_ghost of Dean and Sam: Dean in b&w and Dean in color and Sam in b&w (although I'm not as sure about Sam's mouth).

I am bereft of (good) fic, so I'm watching S1. This is the first time that I noticed that Back in Black is the song playing the first time the impala is seen in motion.

Those are amazingly good, Morgana. Yeah, Sam's lower lip looks a bit thin and his chin a bit too big, but, still, WOW.
