We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

His honesty is pretty refreshing.

Which is why, as a woman with commitment issues, I find him so compellingly attractive.

Okay, part of why. There is that face and that body and that fighting and that crying. But it contributes.

Would John be perceptive enough to not leave Deanna alone? Dean was painfully pretty. Deanna would have a gun. I'm not sure how much I'd attribute to him on that front. But I would imagine that Deanna would be...well, there's a reason I've seen Katee Sackhoff cast as female!Dean. Early BSG Starbuck, for sure. Really quite aggressive and combative and not conventionally feminine--but gorgeous. More combative than Dean, because the chip would be bigger, and the training would have been more hard core.

I don't think he'd be perceptive enough, frankly. And I think that Deanna would have even more crap to repress and pretend was okay than Dean. And, man, I need to stop thinking about this before I'm fetal again!

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Poisontaster's A Kept Boy is an absolutely beautifully done slave fic. It's a long, multi-chap WIP

Very long. I started reading it based on a rec from someone I trusted, because I rarely, rarely read RPF. I gave up once that chapter numbers got into the 70's, because I don't think she has any kind of outline in mind, I think she's just dragging it out. At that point Jeff the rich, reluctant playboy with the stable of loving slaves had yet to take Jensen to bed or believe that Jensen was in love with him, and I realized it would take another 50 or 60 chapters to get to that point.

Say girl!Dean is just as sexual a creature as her male counterpart. Now is she just a healthy, really frigging attractive young person letting off steam after a hunt? Or is she a slut?

I read that story not that long ago! And damned if I can remember where. Sam and Dean were in high school, and Dean had for some reason been turned for a short time into a girl. They moved to a new school, and he was perfectly content. Until he came home upset about breaking up with his boyfriend. (And the interaction between the young teen Sam and the awkward John over how to deal with Dean was amusing. Sam suggests giving Dean ice cream would help.) Dean blurted out something about having slept with the swim team.... the entire swim team?!? Well yeah. And John is shocked. And Dean points out in a reasonable tone that at the last school (when he was a male) when he slept with the entire cheerleading squad John didn't think twice about it, so what's the difference?

Damn, I would LOVE to read that story!

My favorite turned-into-a-girl story is and will always be The D Word. Because it is JESUSFUCKINGCHRIST the hottest thing ever. [link]

It's a crossover with The L Word. Early L Word. Early SPN. So, so good. Crack with candy coating and bacon bits. DELICIOUS.

Because books.

Do you have to know anything about The L Word to read that, Plei?

Plei, I just did a quick search trying to find the story I mentioned and didn't locate it. But I'm trawling through a lot of links right now searching for a specific story, so if I happen to come across it again I'll nab it for you. (The other thing that made it memorable was the utter lack of stress between Sam and John -- it's so rare to find them on the same wavelength rather than butting heads.)

It's more awesome if you've seen the first season of The L Word, but I think you could get away without it. There are no L Word character POVs in the thing.

Because books.

Oh cool. I saw some of it a long time ago, but I don't even remember names. And I don't know if it was the first season or what.

It's really hot. And has some AWESOME brotherly interaction.

I don't know a damned thing about the show, but I did have the right Shane visual, so that was extra hot.

I liked it. It was funny. That was still Dean, they were still brothers. It was weird and it wasn't weird.
