Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

Because books.

And the topper is the goofy expression. LOVE.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm in the middle of reading what I guess is a Veronica Mars inspired AU (I don't know enough of that show to corroborate the comments saying so, my only reference is Brick, which I loved). It's a WIP, but so far it's pretty awesome. Apparently the author is in the middle of big bang fic, so I am appropriately BANGING my head against the wall for having started to read it. I know I'll be jonesing for more shortly. It's highschool, there's a murder of an old flame, and mysteries abound, with lots of layering and subtle build-up.

Rebel Rebel [link] because I must torture the rest of you with a wip, so that you may feel my pain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, not succumbing to the WIP. I've clicked on way too many of those, and the pain is too great. One day, I will make my way back, if it's finished. I must tell myself that.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

omg Cas as pie. It didn't help that I had the Warrant song stuck in my head the whole time I was reading it. Oh so good.

I would have eaten him and proclaimed my love right away.

I love Cas but if I had to choose between no more cherry pie and no more Cas it'd be bye bye Castiel & never look back. Now I want pie.

Because books.

Has anyone read "Dictionary For a Dead Language," by britomart_is? It's a Big Bang, Sam/Dean, and she's usually excellent, but I'm tired and not sure if I want to dive into a really long story tonight.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Amy - I've read it and it is excellent but emotional - probably not good to read if you are already tired.

It's supposed to be good, I think.

I'm wondering about "Luminosity" by devilsduplicity. The vid was really cool. But I'm not sure about the non con and torture. I might as well dive into End!fic.
