Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And then Cas would swoop in and save him, and offer Sam as an incentive to hang in there.

SAM AND THE LOVE OF AN ANGEL.

Beverly, that's even more frustrating now that I know someone else started thinking that. I found a couple fics where Castiel was a doll, but it's so something I could see Dean doing in lieu of suicide that now I'm hungry for it. Total fusion goldmine.

Also? Make Dean Sierra, so he can have nookie with Victor. Whooha! No, wait, D/C. Now I'm confused.

Okay, Julie, crazy eyes in that second picture for the win.

Because books.

SAM AND THE LOVE OF AN ANGEL.

Well, EVENTUALLY! But they don't know that at the outset. Dramatic tension, baby. Have patience! Or faith or something.

Man, now I want to write that.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My little fantasy for how the new season begins is for glimpses into Dean's new life, all that we've speculated on, the faking it and barely hanging on, and that as alone as he is with Lisa and Ben, Cas hangs with him out on the dock of the lake, and keeps him from teetering over the edge. Just lovely little quiet moments that keep Dean from just giving the fuck up. And I want Cas to keep asking Dean "peace or freedom".

And then I want Dean to bail on Lisa [insert reason here*] and that it is Cas and Sam that go looking for him --just because all the fics are looking for Sam.

*maybe he leaves to try and stand on his own two feet, or, because I like pain, let's take the car away from him, too, and leave him stranded, possibly mugged and beat up in the hospital, with no money, and he finally calls Bobby.

::blinks guilelessly::

I don't suppose you'd want to watch Dollhouse in its entirety? No? Dammit.

I'm not sure how much well-intentioned-idiot!Sam I'm ready to take. While I think it's totally in character for him to want to leave Dean with Lisa, because that's how he loves (unlike how Dean does it), FRUSTRATION. He pulled Dean's head mostly out of his ass. Does he need to be smacked around too?

Crazy hair, ita, crazy HAIR.

LOVELY hair. For a near-bald chick, I really like it on other people, especially guys. It doesn't have to do anything sensible.

Have you met me? You could sway with an icon. Or a tattoo site! Or possibly just batting your eyelashes some more.

I do feel bad I didn't give it a fair shot, because ... Joss! And Eliza! And then I could see what that Enver guy is all about. I know Ailleann watched the whole run and really enjoyed it.

Dollhouse is definitely a show with ambitions. I liked it in the end, although...there were problems. But for just the performances of some of the stars--Enver, Adele, Fran, Harry and the material Joss gave them? Yes, it was definitely worth it. And when it became apparent he had to wrap things up in S2, he went balls to the wall in Jossian style, and I loved all the whiplash of it.

Plus, just plain disturbing premise, which I more than appreciate.

Even Eliza came into her own.

But mostly? Enver. Such a find. So freaking amazing at everything they gave him to do, and they gave him a LOT.

Does this mean no tattoo site?

Sigh.
