Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god, Peanut Butter Pumpkin Wedding Cake. I had some issues with that one (you're right about the mistaken identity stretch out), but I did go back and read all the "moments" more than once. They were great. And nice Sam, too. Didn't like the ending, though. It was kinda weird (Castiel's declaration was a bit creepy). But the journey was fun.

I will have to check out Twins Stick Together when I get home.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

While they've done a lot with witches, has the show done anything with shamans? Howabout dryads and naiads? Also, I wonder how they'd update the Sampo story.

Because books.

Druids would be fun! If there are any still practicing, that is.

They should totally go to Stonehenge, though! And Dean can say it was built by robots!

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

if they stumble across something while looking for another case, and realize a man has imprisoned his wife on land by hiding her skin, Dean and Sam would definitely step in.

I know I've read at least one fanfic where they come across a man keeping his wife by hiding her skin, but damned if I can remember where.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Interesting Dean/Cas vid. Not flawless, and I winced at the use of one particular clip, and even at the song at first but it really grew on me and then the lyrics were kind of awesome: "Raise Him Up" [link]

I'm not finished with this yet, so I don't have a full opinion, but so far the big bang D/C Named is cracking my shit up. I was worried it was Sam bashing, but it's mostly pissy Dean, which I can totally handle.

Okay, off to look at vid and other rom com.

eta: I bet I know which clip --- Titanic!Hand, right?

Oh, god, Twins is by Kitty-Alex who wrote the appalling Castiel-catches BB. I don't know if I can read any of her fic.

DON'T PUT VAMPIRES IN YOUR PRE-SERIES HUNTS.

Oy, people. Is that too much to ask?

The end of Named: AAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!! Are you serious?

What is that...I don't even.

ita gets it in one!

I lost my internet connection last night just as I was replying. Damned cheap motels mooching their wifi off of the nearby motel, and me without a password.

So, don't read Named?

I really like the Dean in Named, and the Dean/Castiel moments are highly charged, The climax of the plot is highly absurd, but I'm trying to put it out of my head. I won't bookmark it, but I'm glad I read it, I think. I laughed out loud a number of times.
