Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We have one tie, for the record. Also, if five more people vote garrison, it'll totally take it. Go garrison!

The anti-woo-thinking book that tommyrot brought up in natter made me think of the quotes battling here: "If He doesn't exist, fine. Bad crap happens to good people. That's how it is. And no rhyme or reason, just random horrible, evil. I get it. Okay? I can roll with that. But if He is out there, what's wrong with Him? Where the hell is He while all these decent people are getting torn to shreds? How does He live with Himself? You know, why doesn't He help?"

Go Dean. You tell 'em. Even though I voted stabbination.

Because books.

Dean is, sometimes, the king of realism.

Except when he's thinking he's the one who's supposed to fix everything bad that ever happened to his family.

And on a good day, he'll fix everything for the world, so his family won't have to do it.

I'm looking at the season 5 quotes, and Castiel has or starts off 8 of them. Dean has 12. Chuck 4. Sam 3, Bobby 1, Ellen 1 (sniff), Jo 1, Zachariah (ptui!) 1.

Seeding them is going to suck.

Is the mouth of a goat in there? And imbibing lots of alcohol? Or drinking the liquor store? Cas has *excellent* S5 quotes.

Wait, how does Sam only have three?! That's not right.

Ayup, except imbibing. The voice says he's almost out of minutes! Castiel is rocking S5. But S5 is rocking in general.

Oh man, the panic in his voice does me in every time. CAS.

Dude, Sam got screwed. We didn't do due diligence when we started throwing quotes out there.

serial:

I KNOW. I'm retroactively pissed. But he's in one of the exchanges that starts with Dean, and some of the other quotes are about him. I was about to be pissed that Chuck got more, but he kinda pulled it out at the end there with the narration and got two in under the wire. And they make me sniffly.

eta:

In theory I'd say submit more Sam, but I'd barely know which ones to toss out. These are pretty golden. Still, it's worth a shot--we're not started yet.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

got two in under the wire. And they make me sniffly.

Is one of them about the boys never being homeless? *sniff*

eta: Ellen's is probably kick it in the ass which is going to be hard for me to vote against due to the meta.

NO!

OMG, 32 is not enough. This is a crime against humanity.
