This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

In reading about hazel (which I always want to capitalize as it was my grandma's name) it seems like it was originally meant to describe eyes that were yellow/gold, brown and green on the spectrum of eye color like the outer shell of a hazel nut.

It seems to have morphed to cover eyes that have changeable color depending on the light.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love that vancouvernights has been asked for an opinion on the matter. Fans are...well, we are crazy like that. JA's eyes always look greenish to me, and JP's sometimes look brown. I'm not an expert on these vagaries, but by that alone I would label Dean green-eyed and Sam hazel.

Yup. Mostly, she seems pretty good at dodging the crazy. I had to stop following Clif and I may stop following Sam Ferris as I can't handle their tweets. They just propagate the crazy. Misha, on the other hand, is such a joy.

I think they both fall under the new definition of hazel, but they have very different eye color. I think Jensen's green is frequently enhanced by good lighting.

Because books.

Who exactly is vancouvernights?

Part of the crew, but prefers to remain anonymous.

How do Clif and Sam feed the crazy?

Are episode directors considered spoilery information?

Because books.

Thanks, ehab.

Clif feeds the trolls and gets mad and talks back. Not so internet savvy, the big guy. He hasn't tweeted in a while, though, probably because of hiatud. Unless I stopped following him and forgot about it.

Hah! ita I was wondering the same thing.

And Sam is just kind of bitchy about Paris Hilton so far. But I personally find it unpleasant. It's easy pickings and makes me think less of her. She's coming across as a nasty gossip.

In terms of episode directors, I saw one announced right at the top of the SPN newsletter, so ... maybe not?

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Drat! I can't believe I missed all of Season 3! Fortunately, I agree with the result and don't have to try to wheedle a recount. In reviewing the Season 4 choices, though, I'm finding that, for me, Castiel's lines are highly dependent on Misha's delivery - I'm really having to think back and place them in context to have a sense of why they were memorable because the words on paper aren't very evocative
