But we went through that with Spike on AtS. Do you think they will try that because it got old very quickly and eventually demanded corporealizing. It just seems so gimmicky and trite that I hope they avoid Ghost!Sam. However I just said that I was avoiding expectations of what is, so that I don't hate SHOW at the beginning. I may have to eat my words.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My problem with Sam being an angel is that Sam wouldn't be Sam, and then Show wouldn't be Show. But I guess they could get him unvesselled.

That coda made me stupidly weepy. Because of the other characters, who were very sweet.

My bet is Sam is coming back evil, and Dean has to fix it, or that he's fought Lucifer out of him, and is rewarded by getting his body back. I mean, Cas did for Dean, so.

Complete speculation, but I can't see ghost, and I really can't see angel, because you can't be un-angeled, I would assume.

Except, as much as I enjoy watching JP acting all evol and stuff, haven't we just finished a long, long arc of Sammy being darkside and Dean worrying over him and trying to push at him and fix him? Wouldn't it just be more of the same?

Sam still being possessed? He could be normal crunchy chocolate-coating Sam on the outside, but creamy vanilla ice cream Lucifer on the inside when he looks in a mirror or reflective surface.
