Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the problem with that is, maybe, there's a lot surrounding that to fix first, you know?

Just write a double-size coda. Spend a little less time dwelling on how Dean had to leave Lisa to get back to Sam (because we all know that's what happened), and then wham! Castiel comes back.

Or, Castiel comes back and tells Sam to go get Dean from Lisa. I have actually seen that, but it wasn't D/C. Or Castiel comes back and tells Dean to find Sam and fix him. Or Dean finds a fallen Castiel.

OR SOMETHING.

Man, just feed me, ficwriters.

Because books.

Castiel comes back and tells Sam to go get Dean from Lisa.

Oooh. I like that very much.

Dude, I'm tempted to get this just because of their name.

Although if stand back and squint it could almost be Dean and Cassie on the cover.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Dammit, now I'm shipping Sam/Ruby, the singers.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I've never been happy with any spoilage that I've done in the 'verse. Which is a damn shame because it's not like I can just not see SPN stuff in the Spoiler or Spoiler Lite thread.

Even ep descriptions and titles are too much for me. I can't bear to go near casting. This show, man...

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I am Cass.

Well, I'm not that pretty, but I share her anti-spoiler proclivities.

Except for Supernatural, I am that way too. I guess the only other things that I even come into contact with is guest stars on Leverage. That doesn't spoil me as much as just give me something to smile about.

Not only do I not know what is going to happen on Justified before it airs, usually I end up watching it Wednesday or Thursday. So, I'm like the opposite of spoiled for it. It's out there official, and I still don't know what happened tonight. With that show though, I put off watching it because I like to savor it. You know instead of a snack, you are going to get a great meal. Time needs to be taken.

I figure guest stars on Leverage are people I could conceivably run into on the street. So it's not spoilers, it's being forewarned. Plus that stuff is just fun to know.

I wish SPN were that show for me. It's not.

I want to be able to read casting stuff and ep titles and even descriptions without freaking out like a dork. This is not that show for me though.

Kneel before Glod. ~Stephen Colbert

I just think Lisa/Dean is problematic and I don't trust Show to resolve it tidily.

Definitely problematic.

I see Dean as honoring Sam's dying wish more so than he's pursuing that normal, apple pie life. This is what Sam wanted for Dean, and Dean's going to do it for Sam.

I'm no Lisa-hater either, but completely apart from this promise, I think Dean's interest in making a family with Lisa had more to do with the possibility that Ben was his, and the paternal instinct Ben drew out in Dean. I don't think Dean would have given Lisa a second thought had there been no Ben. I would not be upset or surprised in the least if there was too much baggage there for Dean and Lisa to work it out. Of course, I hope she and Ben aren't killed, sending Dean off on a quest with Sam in a weird role-reversal.
