I haven't seen that many Dean/Castiel fixits--I could do with some of that complete fantasy.

I think the problem with that is, maybe, there's a lot surrounding that to fix first, you know? Like, is Dean with Lisa or not? Did Sam return, and how/why? You've got to put Dean somewhere in the plot structure, and then have Cas come back, and that's a big(gish) story.

I don't remember looking at spoilers ever before Season 5 of AtS. I was so afraid of seeing Angel die (again). I had a good month or so with the finale script and it helped me. I realize this is not the norm. Mostly I just worry about the series finale.

I figured that most of fandom was leaning that way and so would the codas.

I want to put off *disappointment* as long as possible. If it's bad, I don't want to know now, because right now I can still imagine all the lovely ways it *could* go if I were the boss of everything.

I still want to write a not!coda that's just Dean's trip between Bobby's and Lisa's. Sort of a farewell tour of places he and Sam have been together or something.

See, I don't think he'd have been able to do that on the way from Bobby's to Lisa's. I think he would have been on autopilot until he'd done what Sam had told him to do.

I'd like you to write a not-coda about a farewell tour of places he and Sam had been together after he and Lisa decide to take a break, or she sends him away alone for a few weeks to think over if he's really ready to stop hunting and settle down, or things with her don't work out and he doesn't know what else to do. If, you know, I get to request.

See, in my mind, he has to say goodbye, has to let it sink in all the places Sam is not, before he actually show up at her door. Because once he gets there, he knows he can't balk. Because he promised Sam. So he needs to be ready to knock on that door.

Just write a double-size coda. Spend a little less time dwelling on how Dean had to leave Lisa to get back to Sam (because we all know that's what happened), and then wham! Castiel comes back.

Or, Castiel comes back and tells Sam to go get Dean from Lisa. I have actually seen that, but it wasn't D/C. Or Castiel comes back and tells Dean to find Sam and fix him. Or Dean finds a fallen Castiel.

OR SOMETHING.
