You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

“Not dead yet!”

(even a Juan Carlos!)

That's my cousin.

Seriously. It is.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

A name I just love but don't think I could use for my pasty white future child is Cesar. Love it so!

Compassionately intolerant

Pru has such a nice, comfy sound to it.

One of my voice characters is named Prudence Portnoy. She's the groupie girlfriend of Nigel Vapid, the keyboard player for the Cynical Pigdogs. She goes by Pru, but he calls her 'Puddy.'

I should say that in real life, I know a woman named Truly. she is as lovely as the name suggests.

Our wings are not tired.

I love "True", too, which is why it's the prefix for my LJ and Flickr accounts.

“Not dead yet!”

Whenever I think of "Truly" I always imagine "Truly Scrumptious" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which was always one of my favorite films as a kid.

Still one of my favorite films, actually.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Toot Sweet!

I love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I was so bummed when I finally read the Ian Fleming book and realized it was nothing like the movie.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm vaguely irritated by the "boys names ending in N" trend that seems to have cropped up - our goal was never to give D a name that our special little snowflake would have all to himself, but we'd decided years ago that our first child would be named Dylan, and now we look like sheep. We're not sheep! Just ahead of the curve!

Yeah, we're planning on avoiding any name that's in the current top 5 or anything like that. We want him to feel just a little special when he starts school. And yet, still we resist the temptation to use the Palin baby name generator. Something in the range #11 - #100 would do fine. (Currently my name is #3 in Victoria - it's having quite a resurgence - and my middle name is #2. Oh, BTW Cashmere, Olivia is currently the most popular girl's name in Victoria.)

Matilda is still nowhere to be seen in the top 1000

It's in the top 20 in Victoria. You're not out of sync, just misplaced.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Victoria has lovely taste in girls' names. (Victoria also is a lovely girl-name.)

I'm surprised there are so many boys there named Tea.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm surprised there are so many boys there named Tea.

It'd be funny if Frodo had a brother named Tea.
