"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Toot Sweet!

I love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I was so bummed when I finally read the Ian Fleming book and realized it was nothing like the movie.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm vaguely irritated by the "boys names ending in N" trend that seems to have cropped up - our goal was never to give D a name that our special little snowflake would have all to himself, but we'd decided years ago that our first child would be named Dylan, and now we look like sheep. We're not sheep! Just ahead of the curve!

Yeah, we're planning on avoiding any name that's in the current top 5 or anything like that. We want him to feel just a little special when he starts school. And yet, still we resist the temptation to use the Palin baby name generator. Something in the range #11 - #100 would do fine. (Currently my name is #3 in Victoria - it's having quite a resurgence - and my middle name is #2. Oh, BTW Cashmere, Olivia is currently the most popular girl's name in Victoria.)

Matilda is still nowhere to be seen in the top 1000

It's in the top 20 in Victoria. You're not out of sync, just misplaced.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Victoria has lovely taste in girls' names. (Victoria also is a lovely girl-name.)

I'm surprised there are so many boys there named Tea.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm surprised there are so many boys there named Tea.

It'd be funny if Frodo had a brother named Tea.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I like the name Prudence. In fact, Clovis' second-in-command is named Prudence.

As noted, my grandmother's name was Prudence Azalea.

It's in the top 20 in Victoria. You're not out of sync, just misplaced.

We want to be ahead of the sync! I blame Heath Ledger for the Matilda resurgence, though it makes JZ tenderhearted to think of his semi-orphaned daughter.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Actually, it's Repentance Cobblepot.

Oh, I want to be Anathema Brewer!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Juan Carlos will always be, to me, a super hot teenager I met in Venezuela. I mean, he was a teenager then. He's probably a banker or something now.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

One secret favorite of mine is Amaryllis, from The Music Man.

That's "Amaryll-ith"!

God, little Ronnie Howard was a cutie-pie in that film.
