Shoulda gone with Esme or Edith.
Or Enid! That hasn't been popular since the 1920s or earlier. (Enid is my mom's name. She was born in the late '30s.)

I love the name Lillian. It reminds me of a glamour of days gone by, I associate it immediately with Lillian Gish. Not in a celebrity sense, but in a look and style.
JZ's cousin just had a baby, and used "Emmett" as the middle name because she liked Emmett's name.
We bump into kids named Emmett occasionally, but it's rare enought that it's remarkable.
We've only met one 93 y.o. Matilda, but lots of people say either that (a) they love the name (because of the book/movie); or (b) that they considered using Matilda. So I think we're maybe a little ahead of the curve on that one and wouldn't be surprised if it starts trending upward.
I have a friend from another board who just had a baby girl and named her Mathilda.

It's happening already!
I know two other babies named Mat(h)ilda.
Wonder how fast Isabella, Esme, Alice, Renee and such will rise on the popular list.
Will be interesting to see if Susan every comes back in style.
While K-Bug hasn't had a bunch of same named kids, there have been a ton of sound alikes. Her softball team at one point had Cailey, Keily, Kelly, and Kayla.
I like the name Lillian too.
I've yet to hear of another kid named Leif, I think it was in the 70s that Leif even made the baby name charts.
Emaryn is pretty unique from what I can see, but there are loads of girls in her school who have names in the Em... family.
She's only 4 days old!
And it's Matilda (no h) Lucretia.
