Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

I do have lean ground beef, tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and salsa.

You were destined to make tacos tonight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would like tacos! But I have to have lentil soup.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Polgara, incoming.

I had to get blood drawn today, and I was so difficult they sent me to the main lab to a specifically identified guy who hit a geyser first try, no pain. Still, unless he's going to be at the Santa Monica hospital Thursday morning I'm pessimistic about how long it's going to take them to get a line for my Versed for my procedure. Not to mention my pessimism that they'll give me enough Versed to blunt the pain. I hate to sound junkie-like, but I guess I should remind them it took 4mg, not the initial 2, last time, and by then all I missed was the ride from the procedure room.

Speaking all of which, I hope msbelle's doing well, and cutiehead Mac is calm as calm can be.

“Not dead yet!”

I had a ginormous salad at lunch and still feel rather full.

I suspect that dinner will actually be dessert since I have caramelized pear and toasted pecan Haagen Dazs in the freezer.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I had a pretty good turkey meatloaf for lunch (with peas and mashed potatoes that had the skin in it--my second fave version of mashed [fave has garlic in it, too]). The cafeteria here does a decent job with their "carvery" Mondays, and the price isn't too bad ($4.99 for the above). Dinner will probably be spaghetti.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I think we are having Elk steak.

JEALOUS. Om nom nom nom.

ita, I hope they listen to you on Thursday.

I hope msbelle's doing well, and cutiehead Mac is calm as calm can be.

Me, too. Poor noodles, both of them.

~ma to everyone else who needed it, too. I have lost track in the skipping and the skimming.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I made tacos with veggie burgers last night - stuck half a Morningstar southwestern black bean burger in each shell and added cheese and salsa. It was actually pretty delish, for three minutes prep and no dishes.
