Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sophia, I friended you over there. I'm...terribly consistent in my online name.

But I do not have the patience for that number of insane-o people.

I imagine that this would be me, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It is probably my bad attitude that makes me read this story [link] (for the link-lazy, 3 precincts in NYC have had no murders in 2008) and want to run up to the West Village and kill someone tonight, right?

Heh. I am recently plan-less, so.... Although I think I'd rather go to Bayside for that -- they'd never see me coming.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

NYE is best enjoyed in indoor pants, IME.

Amen.

I am having a fabulous NYE dinner. Romaine salad with pear, toasted pignoli and Gorgonzola. Veal piccata with angel hair pasta. Half a bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio.

Ben & Jerry's "Jamaican Me Crazy" sorbet mixed with soda water and Jamaican rum for dessert later.

And I am using the good china and wearing my indoor pants.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I am wearing inside pants, am full of Israeli couscous and roast seafood and veggies, and am ready to settle in for a movie marathon with prosecco and cupcakes. I love NYE.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ben & Jerry's "Jamaican Me Crazy" sorbet mixed with soda water and Jamaican rum for dessert later.

Guh.

I think I might do latkes again. And I have a bottle of champagne and the first season of Sarah Connor Chronicles. Perhaps it's time to put on my indoor pants.

Our wings are not tired.

Yum, that sounds lovely, Anne.

I just ate pizza. Have red wine. I don't know if I will go downtown later or not. The city does a ball drop and all kinds of other activities but I'm not sure if I am up to walking there. Kinda half uck feeling. I'll be able to see the fireworks from home because they are only about a mile away.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Indoor pants, vicodin, champagne, The Thin Man, and chicken dinner (with mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli). Win!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I made my waffle pink, it tasted better that way, and with wildflower honey. mmmm.

I really do want to go see the Rose Bowl floats some year.

Ah, I have been watching season 2 of Sarah Connor on Hulu. Taking a break to watch Bones. Repeat, but I don't think I saw it already.

Compassionately intolerant

Now that I'm back from the haircut from hell...xposted with Bitches...I'm going to broil some mahi mahi, steam some green beans, make mashed sweet potatoes and top it all off with fresh baked (not by me) gingerbread. It's nearly 2 inches high and frosted with a yummy chocolate glaze.

I also have herbed brie and enormous green olives to nom whlle I'm cooking.

Sparkling cider for later and a viewing of, I think, Sliding Doors.

Siiigggghhhh. Life is good.
