Can I just say, back in the day when I was a concert security supervisor, Kenny Loggins was the nicest, most sane act I ever dealt with. An absolute angel of uncomplicated reasonability.

Plus, Kenny on stage doing Pooh corner while the rest of the band took a break, utter sweetness.

The worst? No lie. The Osmond Family. Don't even get me started.

The shyest? Chuck Mangione. Bless his tiny self. Never looked up from the floor and didn't speak a single word except when forced to on stage.

eta: because "Chuch" is a whole other guy I could tell stories about. Bada bing!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sophia, is it so cute you go "eee!"?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Ah, now they're all standing around at the dance, waiting for Ren's inspiring moves.

Once again, the day is saved by the Power Of Dance!

(The same lesson we learn from Dirty Dancing.)

The shyest? Chuck Mangione.

I love him simply for his King of the Hill appearances.

Does he play himself?

Oh yeah! He's the spokesman for Mega-lo-Mart. ("Because saving money feels so goooood.")

Yay Chuck!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aww. Chuck Mangione is a Rochester boy. And we don't have a lot. Taye Diggs, Phillip Seymour Hoffmann, Mimi Kennedy, and Chuck, I think. And Louise Brooks lived here until she died.

OIf course, as befitting a completely rundown, former boomtown city, we were also the homes of Kodak, Xerox, and Bausch and Lomb until they pulled most of their business overseas. And we have white hots!

I. Am. GOBsmacked.

Either he was having a bad (but very nice to us) day, or he's done some est or something. I'd never have thunk it.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I can't believe I got Loggins and Buckingham mixed up. I lose one zillion 80s pop cred points.
