I'm currently watching Footloose.
Did you see the guy sleeping in church and in the town council? That's my hubby!

Heh -- Ben's Chili Bowl in DC changed their list of "who eats free." It used to be just Bill Cosby, but they added the Obama family: [link]

Really?? Coooooool.
And seriously, how many 80s film soundtracks did Kenny Loggins contribute songs to?
I can think of three off the top of my head-- Footloose, Caddyshack, and Top Gun. Seems as if I'm missing about a dozen or so.
Ah, now they're all standing around at the dance, waiting for Ren's inspiring moves.
To sum up my day: I went to enter my time and the timesheet has today as the 28th and the month only having 30 days, and weekending dates on Tuesdays. With dates like Jan 6 109. I have NO IDEA if this is going to fuck up our paychecks. And I have no idea how far back the discrepancy goes.
Really?? Coooooool.
The peeved looking woman sitting next to him is his wife at the time, and she's peeved because his old girlfriend got them the job as extras. He got paid extra to be sleeping.

Holiday Roooooo-oad.
Holiday Roooooo-oad.
That song was Lindsay Buckingham. Did Loggins have a song on the soundtrack?
Now I have The House at PoohCorner stuck in my head! Damn you, Loggins!
Hmmm. Whatever happened to Messina?
ION, I just got my eee PC which was my present from my mom (but I ordered it). It is wee and pink and adorable, and now I don't have to worry that I won't be able to take the work computer home anymore. Old, fired, big!Boss let me take the computer as a reward, and that is a little frowned upon now.
Can I just say, back in the day when I was a concert security supervisor, Kenny Loggins was the nicest, most sane act I ever dealt with. An absolute angel of uncomplicated reasonability.
Plus, Kenny on stage doing Pooh corner while the rest of the band took a break, utter sweetness.
The worst? No lie. The Osmond Family. Don't even get me started.
The shyest? Chuck Mangione. Bless his tiny self. Never looked up from the floor and didn't speak a single word except when forced to on stage.
eta: because "Chuch" is a whole other guy I could tell stories about. Bada bing!
