I went to see the vampires at Red Cross today. They now have (or maybe they have had and I just didn't know) a donor rewards program. You get your card marked each time you come in, and you can get prizes, like mugs, polo shirts, and gift cards. It kinda feels like getting paid for blood, which...feels weird. Possibly less so to people who don't refer to them as vampires.
They also have little machines that check for iron levels right in the interview room, which is nice for Borderline-Iron-Count Girl.
Dude, I have been reduced to watching The Karate Kid. I think we have a boredom cancer epidemic!
I'm currently watching Footloose.
Ren's reading from the Bible and sticking it to the town council.

Did you see the guy sleeping in church and in the town council? That's my hubby!
Heh -- Ben's Chili Bowl in DC changed their list of "who eats free." It used to be just Bill Cosby, but they added the Obama family: [link]

Really?? Coooooool.
And seriously, how many 80s film soundtracks did Kenny Loggins contribute songs to?
I can think of three off the top of my head-- Footloose, Caddyshack, and Top Gun. Seems as if I'm missing about a dozen or so.
Ah, now they're all standing around at the dance, waiting for Ren's inspiring moves.
To sum up my day: I went to enter my time and the timesheet has today as the 28th and the month only having 30 days, and weekending dates on Tuesdays. With dates like Jan 6 109. I have NO IDEA if this is going to fuck up our paychecks. And I have no idea how far back the discrepancy goes.
Really?? Coooooool.
The peeved looking woman sitting next to him is his wife at the time, and she's peeved because his old girlfriend got them the job as extras. He got paid extra to be sleeping.
I thought that was Lindsey Buckingham.
Here is the video, which is way more Brazil than Vacation.
Holiday Roooooo-oad.
That song was Lindsay Buckingham. Did Loggins have a song on the soundtrack?
