More updates:
First, The Gaza-Sderot blog is back in action.
Second, in here, the Post is refusing to make it to the Surround Gaza zone. (4.5km from the Strip's border.) The doctors of the night medical centre - also. Public transportation is failing. Phone lines damaged by rockets had not been fixed.
Keeping fingers crossed for the safety of our Israeli Buffistas and their loved ones.
Shir and Nilly- I cannot imagine how you feel. Thank you for the updates and many good thoughts to you, your families, and everyone caught up in the conflict.
Not really new news, but still updating: more air attacks over Gaza. More rocket launches from the Strip. Wounded on both sides.
Oh, you two. May this pass quickly and you get some peace.
I've laundered and cleaned up and done the Target and grocery runs. Got a nice door hanger for my scarves. I got three gorgeous ones from my mom and decided I needed to do better to keep them and the rest that I have.
And my childhood angel are on my tree.
Now was the very first time I opened a news site today just to check on the weather for tomorrow, not the news.
Wow.
Oh, Nilly and Shir, our thoughts are with you and everyone there. I hope reason and peace can prevail.
Totally this.
On a lighter note, happy belated birthdays to theodosia and quester, and thanks to all for birthday wishes to me! I had a really good family trip, and am now super excited to be home for another week of vacation!
Oh, Theodosia, I think I missed your b-day by skipping!
Happy belated birthday!
