Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

... wait, there are other places on the internet?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I think your post needs MORE ASSCAPS, meara.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

we have crammed fast food in our faces, peered longingly at more DS games (that was just mac) at GameStop, and bought a few things at local discount store. Back home and mac is watching his new Pokemon movie and I am going to attempt to pack up all the newly purchase christmas wrap and stuff for what will be the first of many trips to the basement storage room.

Our wings are not tired.

I love you, Meara.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

OK, so no more putting a dollar in the SA bellringers cup. But we can still buy the poor sucker a cup of hot coffee or hot choc.

Also: don't know who all the horseman of the snowpocalypse are. But one them is Stircrazy.

Our wings are not tired.

with the EVIDENCE of her TAWDRY behavior??

Mmmmmmmm, tawdry behavior. Oh, you meant visiting other boards. That's a whole different flavor of tawdry.

Huh, I'm fairly certain that my Jewish friends weren't offended at my Chanukah wishes and I was quite delighted with their Merry Christmas greeting despite their failure to rejoice in His birth and all. It really is kinda sad when people work so hard at staying in a state of being offended.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

java, as a Christian I feel compelled to apologize for that idiot and assure you that in my opinion her hat is full of ass.

Also, I really really want to go over there and ask her if she sincerely believes that Christmas is a more central Christian holiday than Easter. Because...no. Just no. It's a big one, but if she really thinks it's of greater theological significance than Easter, her hat is even assier.

Also also,

I am just boggled at the concept of someone being offended by someone else wishing them joy on any day, for whatever the reason. You seriously have to go out of your way to be offended by an earnest sentiment for your happiness, you know?

This is such a world of right, on a bed of wise with truthful sauce poured all over it (and chocolate sprinkles).

eta: I had to hover over that last word for almost a full two minutes before my sugar-and-caffeine-addled brain could feel quite certain it wasn't supposed to be kprinkles.

“Not dead yet!”

Braved the outlet mall which wasn't too bad, all things considered. Got a couple of shirts, a new pair of Lucky jeans (I'm afraid my One True Jean may be discontinued-- *sob*) and a wicked sexy pair of Miu Miu sandals on ridiculous discount.

Not a bad haul and I got to kill time with Mom. Only had to roll my eyes a few times as she took something like three phone calls from my father.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

It seems odd to me that people go around looking to be offended. It happens enough with out looking to be offended.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It seems odd to me that people go around looking to be offended. It happens enough with out looking to be offended.

My guess is that woman is just offended by atheists in general.
