When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

It seems odd to me that people go around looking to be offended. It happens enough with out looking to be offended.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My guess is that woman is just offended by atheists in general.

Now tagless for your comfort.

meara's funneee.

java, I'm tempted to register and go pile on the moron over there, but I'll control the urge. Feh on her and her mean spirited idiocy.

There's been a major cock-up on our babysitting leaving us with no sitter for tonight. I've run down my emergency list and have not takers. We might be screwed.

I'm happy my mere existence is making her uncomfortable.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Cash, just leave your kids by the computer, and tell them to post messages and hit "Read New" every once and a while. We'll watch them for you.

Christmas stuff plastic bin #1 is packed and closed.

I am trying to coordinate a tomorrow wherein: mac goes to a friend's for a playdate, I and friend go to a spa for manis or pedis, and then I get my FSA stuff figured out so I can spend any money I have left. The spa won't answer their phone and I can't find all my FSA docs. Maybe in my search for paperwork, I can fill another bag or two of crap to get rid of.

ION, boredome (and lack of work) has compelled me to clean my desk. I am now tackling the biggest pile of paper on my desk. I'm also pretending to be an archaeologist, as the papers get older the deeper I dig. So far I'm only down to Oct 16, 2008.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

peered longingly at more DS games (that was just mac) at GameStop,

Emmett would be happy to give reviews on his many DS games. (He's currently loving Mario Kart.) He would also like to point out that when you buy Pokemon games (like Ruby or Pearl) used they often come loaded with wonderful, wonderful Pokemon from the previous user.

Mmmmm, I just had steak and eggs for lunch. FiL sent me home with several pounds of prime rib and I cut off a hunk and made it into littler chunks and pan fried it in butter and tossed in an egg and had it with toast and it was the decadence.

I mean, there are fancier things to have for breakfast and I've had most of them at Commander's Palace. But nothing makes me feel more like Diamond Jim Brady or a 19th Century Railroad Tycoon than steak and eggs.

mac got Mario Kart for Christmas (along with some Pokemon, Mario & Sonic Olympics, and a spelling game). He also wants Super Mario Bros, Sonic unleashed, and Pokemon Rangers Shadows of something, but alas GameStop did not have them. He will get more games in April for his birthday.
