ION - mac is at a friends and the entrance to their house was a ice sheet, yikes! I was hoping for a bunch of good signs this morning, but my car service dropped me three blocks from my destination (after taking a wrong turn which left us in a position where one way streets made it hard to get closer) and then when I ordered my latte this morning the counter person, said "you want milk in that, right?" oy.

We have gray, mildly chilly weather here in Carrboro. Weatherwise, things look ok for me for holiday traveling. But my sister's planning on bringing her brood down from the Detroit area on Friday, to meet Dad and me in Charleston, WV, and her weather's look less pleasant. I'm thinking that if things are as bad as predicted, I should ask her to consider staying home.
