You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat! It's Sunday already, isn't it? (Early am ER visit has thrown off my time sense). Too asocial to come by today? (Don't worry--I totally get it, plus parents).

Just heard that family hasn't hooked up beach time yet.Mostly sold out, I'm told. Now I'm irritable. Every time I come home we do beach time As news go, it's the kind that's not, but how much can I complain that they aren't doing this ritualstic nice thing for me? And them--it's not like I go alone? ita, you're leaving on the 24th, yes? DAMN. Time is getting away from me (we missed an OT appointment yesterday because I got confused).

Noah has speech therapy right now. Is tomorrow a possibility, ita?

Sure. Not doing anything but cleaning, job hunting, and getting ready to leave.

Then tomorrow it is. Each day we have SOMEthing planned. But it's only one thing and for a short time. Like today, we are supposed to go to a class thing for K in Pasadena at 1:00. Tomorrow we have yoga for me, OT for Noah, a 5;00 PM class meeting. Tuesday we are going to the Wild Animal Park. Wednesday I'm getting tickets for Noah's Ark. Thursday is xmas. Friday my dad goes home. Saturday we have to be at the DWP festival of lights thing. Sunday we have to be at the Farmer's Market. Monday? Don't remember. Ugh.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's cold and drizzly in SF. And by cold I mean it's 46, and by drizzly I mean you would get moistened if you stepped outside.

Matilda (with very little marking for her face bonk yesterday) is off to church with JZ. Emmett's had pancakes and I'll be peeling him away from HIMYM to do the last vestige of homework so he can chill for the rest of his vacation.

I only need a few more xmas presents and some stocking stuffers. Now if we can just find a car.

No problem. Just remembered my doctor's appointment, but it's at nine, so it should be just fine.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't figure out when to call my father for his birthday. He's in a show that runs at 1 and 5:30. So I guess I'll try to catch him in between on his cell phone?
