Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

we have had cookies and chocolates galore for a week. Today I got a free lunch (prospective food providor) and just got my first gift (a vendor).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm the one who did the bringing here--today it's homemade peanut brittle. Monday=baked goods.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm, baked goods. I have to convince my mom to make Hello Dolly's while I'm home.

Today: Printing newsletter, private lessons, planting bulbs? Saturday: Private lessons, housecleaning, packing Sunday: Taking solstice measurement, whee! Leaving for IN.

We're such big geeks we're waiting until solar noon on winter solstice so we can take a measurement of where the sun falls in our sunroom. It should perfectly fill the room on that day. If so, we're going to mark it, and hopefully that will be the first stage of a solar calendar on the floor in that room.

And then we're going to leave for our trip. But we had to wait for solstice! I hope we really have sun!

Hello Dolly's

We were just talking about these at work! You're talking about the bar cookie with layers of stuff including chocolate chips and coconut, right? I always called them congo bars, but my coworker called them Hello Dolly!

Not geeky! That's seriously really cool!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh dear ... although that does lead me to something I've been wondering - '80s hair, clothes, makeup - which was the worst?
